Graphic Designers make good money, and Advertising Agencies make a ton of money. How much? Well - you could expect a monthly retainer from $1-10,000 or more that gives you the right to talk with your agency. If you want them to actually do work for you, that's extra.

The services of this site are delivered by people...not software. So when you request development of creative materials, real, live, pre-screened pros are put to work for you.

We pay them for that effort.

That gets us a higher quality pool of pros, which delivers a higher quality service to our customers.

Our services can be delivered at such great prices because we are leveraging technology to streamline an age-old process.

The systems employed by PDFriendly.com are developed based on a cumulative experience of almost 100 man years in the Creative industry representing in excess of 30,000 ads developed and delivered.

We use David Ogilvy's basic Ad Elements theory coupled with the proven effectiveness of the Problem-Solution-Payoff response advertising principle to determine the ingredients to gather from our customers and base development around.

We then leverage the Internet to facilitate proofing, payment and final file delivery.

It makes sense for our customers who get great Creative Services at a fraction of traditional cost. It makes sense for our Graphic Pros who create work quickly at rates that make it worth their while based on the system.

PDFriendly.com is built around newspaper ad design because, unlike just a few short years ago, almost every newspaper accepts - or even prefers - PDF files from their clients to work with.

So much so, in fact, that the Associated Press, which is affiliated with over 2,000 newspapers across the United States, has named Adobe PDF files their preferred method of receiving advertising materials.

PDFriendly.com uses "templates" as a starting point for the very simple reason that 99% of all ads are variations on a basic formula:
1. You get the reader's attention (with words)...
2. You show the reader something compelling (with pictures)...
3. You tell the reader what you're all about...
4. You give the reader something to do (an offer, make a phone call, etc)...
5. You tell the reader how to find you (address, phone number, website...).

Keep in mind: Our Graphic Pros will only use the template as a general guideline about how you'd like your ad arranged ...they'll work with the elements you provide to create an ad that is exactly what you want. If your elements work better in a format that does not follow one of the templates, we can still develop an effective design for you.
